A learning package for healthcare professionals working with people with diabetes.

Determining optimal practice in the care of someone with diabetes can be challenging.  It can be difficult to make an accurate differential diagnosis, and without a correct diagnosis, management may be compromised. ‘Know your diabetes care’ is a self-directed learning package designed by a group of nurses led by a group of nurses led by a credentialed Diabetes Educator. It will improve the diabetes knowledge of healthcare professionals assisting them to provide best practice diabetes care.

Separated into three learning modules, the package is simple to navigate.  Each module contains easy to read information, links to readings that further develop knowledge, recommended readings, reflective activities, self review exercises and finally, to complete each module, a test of knowledge
