Hospital Management of Diabetes

What do I learn?
After printing your Module Two certificate you can move on into the final phase of the ‘Know your diabetes care’ learning package.

Module Three consolidates the content presented in the previous modules and further explores the management of the hospitalised person with diabetes.

Module Three is divided into three sections.

Part A covers the management principles of hospitalised people with diabetes.

Part B covers Acute Care of diabetes in hospital with specific emphasis on issues that are of concern in the care of people with diabetes.

Part C “Talking about Diabetes” – A Nurses Guide‘ aims to equip nurses with the skills to understand what it is like to have diabetes, how to assist people manage it and when to ask for guidence from diabetes specialists.

A certificate for successfully completing Module Three can be printed for the learner's records.
